Salve also means “good health” or “Griaß enk”, a Tyrolean greeting.
When you arrive in Skiwelt Söll, you immediately see the most beautiful panoramic mountain in the Tyrolean lowlands. The Hohe Salve is the focal point for skiers and sun seekers, offering stunning views of the peaks of the Kitzbühel and Zillertal alps, Hohe Tauern, and Wilder Kaiser. No less than 70 peaks reaching over 3,000 meters in altitude can be spotted from the unique 360-degree panorama view. The options for winter adventure span for too - with approximately 8 kilometers of non-stop slope fun, the K8 from the Hohe Salve all the way into Söll’s valley is the longest downhill slope in the Skiwelt.
Winter sports enthusiasts in Söll are treated to a true snow paradise as a standard: slopes ranging from difficulty blue to black, magnificent toboggan runs, a unique all-round view from the peak of Hohe Salve, winter hiking trails, and a broad range of fun-slope activities characterize the ski resort. The famous “Hexenwasser” witches are also active during the winter season and “sweep” over the slopes.
